Hello! Thank you so much for passing by. I'm so happy to see that you're interested in stomach vacuums. Not many people know them, which is weird because they are an amazing exercise to strengthen your abdominal muscle. Actually, they work even better than crunches and situps. How crazy is that???

Before I teach you how to properly do them, let me give you a quick explanation of what they are. So, a stomach vacuum is an exercise that consists in holding your abdominal muscles in and keeping them in that position for about 30 seconds (that's why they are called stomach vacuums). You should be able to breathe normally while holding your abs in because you're working on your abdominal muscles only, and not your chest.

You want to do them 3 times per week and at least 5 sets of 30 seconds each one (15 seconds rest between sets). Before I continue, I need to add a disclaimer: this exercise DOESN'T help with weight loss. If you want to lose weight, you need to start a healthy clean diet, or intermittent fasting and also do some cardio. You can download my free ebook "27 Tips to Lose Weight" from here.

This being said, it's time to show you how I do my stomach vacuums. You will see it's not a big deal, and you can actually incorporate them into your daily routines. I personally do them before taking a shower, or while I'm preparing my coffee lol. There are no excuses, queen!!!

I'm leaving you with a quick video I recorded doing my stomach vacuums this morning. Hope this helps you. If you have any other questions or concerns about stomach vacuums or weight loss, please email me at [email protected] or DM me on Instagram. Find me there as @miaadorababes
